Hard Antifoul
This type of anti-foul is good for racing boats or power boats up to 40 knots. It is possible to burnish the surface, primarily to 'expose' a layer of biocide, and make the anti-foul more effective, but also this is very effective for providing a smooth surface for racing boats.
Hard anti-fouls have a resin system with a high volume of insoluble resin, this dries very hard, stopping the coating from erosion. The resin is packed with active ingredients; each particle being in direct contact with its neighbour, as a particle is dissolved by the water the particle immediately behind it is exposed.
If necessary for a complete finish we can organise for the supports to be moved so that we can get to the inaccessible areas, this has the bonus of being able to sand down the patch area to provide a complete job. However if you aren't concerned by this, we can provide a pot of paint for the yard to use before re-launching.
